March 2010 - Referencing in the first directory of french photovoltaics groups
SEFTIM thanks to its activities in photovoltaïcs domain appear in the first directory of french photovoltaics groups created by SOLER, french organization of professionals for photovoltaics solar, to appear as sole research consultancy for lightning studies related to photovoltaics.

February 2010 - Evolution of Standardization Week
From February 22nd to 26th took place in Ljubljana a meeting on Lightning Protection Standards. Alain Rousseau - SEFTIM General Manager - took part in the working group.

08.09.09 - Taking part in the China International Forum on Lightning Protection and Disaster
Mitigation (CLPDM 2009)
In September 2009 took place in Chongqing, China a 3-days International Forum on Lightning Protection and Disaster Mitigation.
Alain Rousseau, Chairman of Surge Protective Device CENELEC Committee and SEFTIM General Manager was one of the two chairmen of this forum, that included four sessions :
- Lightning physics and scientific experiments
- Lightning detection and warning technology and its application
- Lightning protection technology
- Lightning protection products and their application
